Our Marketing Team

Our marketing team focuses on three objectives:

  1. Launching new products (through our email list, advertising, and affiliate network)
  2. Running seasonal and annual promotions
  3. Monetising the website through lead generation and email marketing

We are looking to grow our PPC team and accelerate our paid advertising.

You would be a part of this marketing team:

  • Three Marketing Assistants (all experienced with Facebook Ads)
  • One Customer Support Manager
  • One Videographer / Video Editor
  • Two Graphic Designers
  • Two Developers

We’re launching new products or running major promotions every month. The rest of our time is spent on scaling our wins across all campaigns and testing new ideas.

Our Approach to Marketing

The way we approach marketing has enabled us to scale our business and reliably turn visitors into customers. And it comes down to two key factors: systems and data.

Systems allow us to easily execute the tactical work so that we can focus our time and effort on the strategy. As these simply documented processes can be followed by almost anyone, they allow us to scale our results across multiple different campaigns with ease.

Data enables us to quickly make important decisions, through the use of dashboards and reports. Our data-based mindset allows us to approach everything we do with the future in mind, so whether it’s Facebook ads, email marketing, popups, or upsells… we always use proper naming conventions and automated reports.

When we combine these two factors, we’re able to execute the right decisions across multiple campaigns, fast.

The key to successful marketing is to focus on something that works, and get really good at it. That’s why we constantly evolve our processes and focus our attention where it matters most.

You’ll rarely find us trying a new form of marketing. Because the learning curve for success is time-consuming and expensive, and we expect to fail fast and often when we test something new.

Only when we believe fully in the potential of a marketing technique do we go full-steam ahead. That’s why we’re starting to explore YouTube ads, but don’t build messenger funnels, or push notification lists.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be in charge of profitably spending 30,000-100,000 USD on Facebook ads each month with a talented Paid Advertising Team.

There are many details to this role, but that is your primary concern.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Running, optimising, and scaling evergreen conversion-focused Facebook ads
  • Launching products and promotions on Facebook to match our marketing calendar
  • Using Google and YouTube as secondary platforms
  • Run reports and build attribution models
  • Writing ad copy (assistance in this is available)
  • Working with the videographer and designers to order new creatives
  • Doing targeting and competitor research for our major promotions & launches
  • Participating in weekly ‘war room’ meetings to work on the highest leverage marketing opportunities each day

Although you will be working within a team, this is not a position that will be micromanaged. You will be entrusted to execute your own decisions daily and will be responsible for their performance.

Experience and Requirements

We’re looking for a PPC person to join our team who:

  • Has at least 1-year experience with running Facebook ads at scale
  • Has experience with advertising e-commerce or info/educational products
  • Has an analytical mindset and has a data-first approach to marketing
  • Takes initiative and is not risk-averse when it comes to spending levels
  • Is fluent in English
  • Passion for photography is a bonus
