Autofocus really is quick, especially on Canon’s higher-end mirrorless cameras like the RP and R5. There is an AF limiter to prevent unnecessary hunting. Other switches on the barrel control the image stabilization. This is rated at up to five stops, and has three selectable modes. This allows you to pan while shooting, for example. In this mode, the lens only compensates for up-and-down movement.

This lens’s bokeh quality is smooth, but perhaps not as good as the EF version’s. This is an L-Series lens, with the quality build and weather sealing you expect from that.
